Position: AGM / DGM – Innovation, AI & ESG

Location: Head Office / Plant (Karachi)

Department: Strategy, Sustainability & Innovation

Reports to: Director / Head of Strategy & Transformation

Salary Range: PKR 500,000 – 700,000 per month

Plus additional benefits as per company policy

About the Role

HRCONSOL, Pakistan’s leading HR & Manpower Solutions company, is hiring an exceptional professional for our prestigious Cement Sector client.

We are seeking an AGM / DGM – Innovation, AI & ESG to spearhead digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, and AI-driven industrial excellence.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable of integrating AI, IoT, automation, and ESG frameworks to optimize operations, reduce carbon footprint, and drive progress toward net-zero objectives.

Key Responsibilities

A.

Innovation & Digital Transformation

• Lead innovation initiatives across production, supply chain, and energy systems.

• Implement AI/IoT-based predictive maintenance for optimized plant performance.

• Deploy ML models for demand forecasting, quality control & process optimization.

• Evaluate new technologies, startup partnerships, and digital tools for manufacturing.

• Build a culture of continuous improvement & innovation.

B.

Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics

• Develop data-driven dashboards for efficiency, carbon emissions & energy usage.

• Implement AI-powered process control & smart manufacturing systems.

• Integrate automation & RPA into HR, Finance, Procurement & support functions.

• Ensure system scalability, data integrity & cybersecurity with IT teams.

C.

ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance)

• Lead ESG strategy aligned with GCSI and UN SDGs.

• Drive decarbonization, renewable energy, waste heat recovery & circular economy projects.

• Publish annual ESG reports compliant with GRI, SASB & IFC frameworks.

• Ensure environmental compliance with EPA, NEQS & SECP ESG standards.

• Promote community engagement, HSE, and diversity & inclusion initiatives.

D.

Strategic Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with plant heads, R&D & corporate stakeholders for innovation opportunities.

• Collaborate with universities & global sustainability think tanks.

• Mentor teams on sustainability, innovation & AI literacy.

• Represent the organization in national and international ESG forums.

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering OR Computer Science.

• Master’s in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Data Science, or MBA (preferred).

Desirable Certifications

• ESG Reporting / GRI

• Sustainability Leadership

• AI & Data Analytics

• Industry 4.0

Technical Knowledge

• Cement manufacturing processes

• Carbon capture & renewable energy solutions

Experience

• 10–15 years total, with 5+ years in a leadership role in cement/heavy manufacturing/energy.

• Proven experience in innovation, automation, and digital transformation.

• Hands-on experience with ESG reporting frameworks.

• Exposure to AI applications such as predictive maintenance & energy analytics.

• Strong project management, analytical & stakeholder engagement skills.
