Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Research Initiatives: Spearhead independent research projects in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or other AI/ML domains. Define research objectives and methodologies.

• Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize novel AI/ML algorithms and models. Conduct rigorous experimentation and validation.

• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Work with large, complex datasets, developing advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights and drive research progress.

• Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate closely with other researchers, engineers, and data scientists. Mentor junior researchers and provide technical guidance.

• Publication and Dissemination: Author and present research findings at leading international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals. Contribute to the broader scientific community.

• Technology Transfer: Explore opportunities to translate research findings into practical applications and potential commercialization.

• Stay Abreast of Advancements: Continuously monitor the latest advancements in AI/ML and related fields, identifying emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.

• Remote Collaboration Tools: Effectively utilize a suite of remote collaboration and development tools to ensure seamless project execution and communication.

Qualifications:

• Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.

• Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of post-doctoral research experience in AI/ML, with a proven track record of significant contributions (e.g., publications, patents, impactful projects). Demonstrated experience leading research teams or complex projects is essential.

• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in one or more core AI/ML areas. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). Strong mathematical and statistical background.

• Research Acumen: Ability to formulate research questions, design experiments, and interpret results critically. Strong problem-solving skills.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Remote Work Aptitude: Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, demonstrating strong self-discipline and organizational skills.
