The intelligence architecture within Aivyx is centered on powerful, compartmentalized agents, notably featuring 'The Nonagon'—a set of nine specialist agents (Coordinator, Researcher, Coder, etc.) managed by a central Coordinator. This structure facilitates complex task delegation, parallel execution via DAG orchestration, and iterative self-improvement mechanisms, including planner feedback loops and specialist skill scoring. A significant differentiator is its memory system, known as GraphRAG Memory, which employs a knowledge graph with BFS traversal and agentic retrieval capabilities, all fully encrypted. Furthermore, Aivyx supports multimodal interaction, incorporating image understanding models and the ability to extract data from PDFs, XLSX, and CSV files, creating a rich, context-aware environment for complex analytical tasks.
Beyond core processing, Aivyx is built for operational integration and enterprise readiness. It offers multiple interaction channels, spanning CLI, a Terminal User Interface (TUI), a dedicated Desktop application, and a sophisticated real-time Voice Agent featuring STT, agent reasoning, and streaming TTS with barge-in interruption. For larger deployments, enterprise security features are paramount, including multi-tenancy with per-tenant encryption, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) integrated with OIDC Single Sign-On (SSO), and proactive cost governance mechanisms like tenant budgets. The platform boasts extensive interoperability through A2A and MCP protocols and provides a comprehensive OpenAPI specification for building custom integrations across platforms like Discord, Slack, and Matrix.
