Qualifications

• Writers, editors/proofreaders, educators, researchers, and people with writing-oriented degrees are highly encouraged to apply
• Bachelor's degree in a heavily writing-focused program (Journalism, Literature, Linguistics, Communication, Philosophy, History, English, or similar) or equivalent, professional writing/editing experience
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable using different softwares
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Located in Southlake, TX and able to work in-person 40 hours per week

HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development hire Entry-Level Copy Editors to train generative artificial intelligence models to become better writers.

We are looking for creative people who can quickly draft high-quality, accurate content. Writers, editors/proofreaders, educators, researchers, and people with writing-oriented degrees are highly encouraged to apply.

In this role, you will be assigned to work on specific, high-priority projects for customers and/or to draft, create, or review (e.g. edit/grade) work done by others.

As an Entry-Level Copy Editor, you will:

• Work on various writing/reading projects to train generative AI models.

• Create original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.

• Rank a series of responses that were produced by an AI model.

• Based on a given topic, write a short story about that topic.

• Assess whether a piece of text produced by an AI model is factually accurate or not.

• Writing detailed step-by-step directions.
