About The Role:

We are partnering with a reputable Bank to find a strategic and technically proficient AI & Data Governance Manager.

This is a high-impact role designed for an expert who can bridge the gap between advanced technology and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish bank‑wide data governance standards and controls, covering data privacy, sharing, protection, and AI gov...ernance.

• Define and maintain the Data and AI Governance Framework, including policies, standards, governance metrics, processes, and data control measures.

• Collaborate with business and support units to develop policies and guidelines, coordinate governance forums, and prepare materials for data and AI governance committees.

• Contribute to the enterprise data governance roadmap, driving improvements in data processes, efficiency, and risk management, while ensuring adherence to the Bank's risk control and regulatory requirements in day‑to‑day operations.

• Keep the Data Governance team informed of best practices, local regulations, and compliance requirements, translating these into practical, actionable guidance for the Bank.

• Lead and mentor team members, championing data quality and protection standards that enable best‑in‑class analytics and support new product and market opportunities.

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in data governance with a proven track record in driving data control implementations in Banking

• Demonstrable and hands-on experience in authoring data governance policies, from initiating drafting to implementation

• Strong knowledge of industry-leading data management practices, data governance, and model risk management.

• Exposure to AI governance, model oversight, or evolving data/AI regulatory frameworks would be an advantage

• Outstanding stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and Chinese.

• Results-oriented, with the ability to deliver under pressure.
