About the Role

We are seeking an AI & ML Engineer Intern to join our team for a three-month internship. This is an exciting opportunity for a 3rd-year student in Computer Science or the Faculty of Engineering (AI & ML Department) to gain practical experience in applying artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

● Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and implement AI/ML models for various applications.

● Assist in data preprocessing, cleaning, and analysis to support model development.

● Participate in developing machine learning pipelines and integrating models into production environments.

● Conduct research on AI/ML techniques and contribute innovative ideas to enhance model performance.

● Test, evaluate, and document model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

● Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and presentations for team discussions.

Qualifications

● Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student in Computer Science or the Faculty of Engineering (AI & ML Department).

● Strong foundation in programming languages such as Python or R.

● Excitement about working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and tools like LangGraph or LlamaIndex.

● Familiarity with one of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

● Experience with data manipulation tools such as Pandas and NumPy.

● Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and statistical concepts.

● Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

● Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

● Knowledge of software engineering practices and version control
