Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Degree program must be based in the United States with an expected graduation of December 2025 or later
  • Eligible for and available for full-time (40 hours per week) internship in person based out of the assigned office location for the whole duration of the internship/co-op
  • Relevant academic research or industry experience within Robotics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Optimization, Manipulation, Perception, Motion Planning and Controls, Movement, Autonomous Navigation, Path Planning, or related
  • Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or related

Responsibilities

  • You'll have the opportunity to build models to enhance the performance of our robots in warehouses nationwide and contribute to improving our warehouse productivity
  • Innovating, creating, and iterating modeling solutions for given business problems

  • Collaborating with other science, tech, ops, and business leaders to ship and iterate time series predictive model products

We're looking for an AI Research Intern who can help us push the boundaries of what's possible with robotics. If you're passionate about innovation and have a strong background in robotic research, we'd love to hear from you.

As an AI Research Intern, you'll work on challenging and high-impact projects within robotics, collaborating with our team of experts to develop cutting-edge solutions. You'll have the opportunity to build models to enhance the performance of our robots in warehouses nationwide and contribute to improving our warehouse productivity.

• Innovating, creating, and iterating modeling solutions for given business problems.

• Applying techniques such as spatial-temporal ML methods, optimization, causal inference, etc., to achieve optimal solutions.

You'll need to meet these basic qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

• Degree program must be based in the United States with an expected graduation of December 2025 or later.

• Strong algorithm development experience.

• Analysis of algorithms and computational complexity knowledge.

• State-of-the-art algorithms familiarity in field of expertise.

• Excellent creative problem-solving skills.

• Clear and concise technical communication skills.
