In this critical role, you will oversee a team of machine learning researchers and engineers responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions that meet business needs. As a Senior Machine Learning Manager at RBC Borealis, your expertise in AI and machine learning will be instrumental in driving innovation and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of innovative AIapproaches, leveraging your expertise in machine learning to drive business impact;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI solutions that meet business needs, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements;

• Provide technical leadership and scientific guidance to applied research projects, fostering a culture of innovation and growth within the team;

• Establish RBC Borealis as a thought leader in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, promoting the company's reputation and visibility;

• Mentor and lead a group of researchers and engineers, developing their skills and empowering them to make meaningful contributions to RBC Borealis' research and development efforts.

What We're Looking For:

• A Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent qualifications;

• 5+ years of experience in leading high-impact machine learning solutions in a product-centric environment;

• Proven track record of managing high-performing teams of researchers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver machine learning (ML) projects and solutions;

• Proven experience across the entire research and development lifecycle, from concept prototyping to production-ready solutions, with a strong ability to engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions;

• Exceptional communication skills;

• Strong foundation in machine learning (ML) concepts, including a deep understanding of ML algorithms, architectures, and techniques.
