Specializing in generic drug formulations, technology transfers, and ICH/DRAP-compliant solutions, we're revolutionizing pharma with cutting-edge AI.
We're seeking a senior-level AI expert to optimize our platform's AI systems, manage CRM operations, and oversee AI-driven chat support, ensuring seamless functionality for our users.
Role Overview
This part-time role focuses on advanced AI operations, CRM system management (HubSpot), AI prompt engineering, and AI-driven chat system administration for our innovative pharmaceutical platform.
You'll ensure our AI delivers precise, compliant outputs, optimize HubSpot for user data and platform analytics, and manage AI-powered chat for technical user support.
We're targeting a senior professional with deep expertise in AI systems and regulated environments—not a junior role.
Pharmaceutical knowledge is a valuable asset but not required, as the focus is on technical AI proficiency and system administration.
Key Responsibilities
• AI Platform Optimization & Prompt Engineering:
Design and refine advanced prompts for generative AI models (e.g., via xAI or similar APIs) to produce accurate outputs like formulation insights or stability protocols; optimize AI system performance and troubleshoot errors in real-time.
• HubSpot CRM Management:
Administer HubSpot's technical backend, including custom objects, API integrations, and automated workflows for user onboarding, subscription tracking, and platform analytics in a regulated environment.
• AI-Driven Chat Management:
Configure and manage AI-powered live chat systems (e.g., Intercom with NLP capabilities) to handle user queries on platform features like subscriptions or regulatory outputs, ensuring technical accuracy and user satisfaction.
• System Administration:
Oversee backend operations for our AI-centric platform, managing user registrations, ensuring data security per pharma compliance standards (e.g., ICH/DRAP), and maintaining system scalability and uptime.
• Executive & Technical Oversight:
Provide AI-focused reports to leadership on system performance, user query resolution rates, and platform metrics; support high-level tasks like API integrations or compliance-aligned AI customizations.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience Level:
years in AI operations, system administration, or technical roles in tech or regulated industries (e.g., health tech, biotech); proven success managing AI platforms or complex CRM systems—not suitable for junior professionals.
• AI Technical Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in prompt engineering for generative AI models, API integrations (e.g., xAI, OpenAI), and NLP applications; experience with Python or JavaScript for scripting and AI optimization is critical.
• CRM & Technical Skills:
Expertise in HubSpot's technical features (e.g., custom objects, API workflows; certification preferred); proficiency in AI-driven chat platforms (e.g., Intercom, Drift) and data tools for system analytics.
• Pharmaceutical Knowledge:
Familiarity with pharmaceutical platforms (e.g., CTD modules, regulatory registrations, USP-NF) is a strong asset but not mandatory; ability to quickly learn pharma-specific contexts is valued.
• Soft Skills:
Analytical problem-solving for AI system debugging; proactive communication for leadership reporting; ability to work independently in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.
• Education:
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field; certifications in AI (e.g., Google AI, AWS ML) or CRM systems (HubSpot Admin) are highly desirable.
• Location & Eligibility:
Must be based in Canada or the USA, with a strong preference for candidates in Vancouver, BC. Burrard Pharma does not support visa sponsorship or any visa-related documentation.
• Availability:
Part-time with flexible hours; must be proactive and available for real-time AI system monitoring and chat support as needed.
