Overview

We are looking for a senior systems architect, not a feature developer.

This role is for someone who:

• has designed systems end-to-end

• understands how to structure complex backend systems

• can work alongside AI-assisted development (not against it)

If your primary strength is writing features or following tick...ets, this is not the role.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Evaluating existing systems and identifying what should be:

• kept

• restructured

• rebuilt

Designing system architecture across:

• data flow

• service boundaries

• processing layers

Structuring systems that involve:

• multiple data inputs (APIs, documents, etc.)

• document ingestion and parsing

• asynchronous/background processing

Defining backend patterns for:

• reliability

• scalability

• maintainability

Working in an environment where AI tools (e.g.

Claude, OpenAI Codex) are actively used for executionThis is a design-first role, not a ticket-driven role.

Required Experience (Do Not Apply If This Is Not You)

You have personally designed systems end-to-end(not just contributed to parts of a larger system)

You are strong in:

• backend architecture

• API design

• data modeling (PostgreSQL or similar)

You have worked on systems involving:

• multiple data sources

• non-trivial logic (beyond CRUD)

• async processing (queues, jobs, background workers)

You have experienced:

• systems that broke

• architecture that had to be reworkedand can explain what you learned from that

You understand:

• authentication / access control

• data boundaries

• practical security considerations

You actively use AI tools in your workflow and understand:

• where they accelerate development

• where human judgment is required
