Senior Lead AI Data Scientist

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least 8 years of experience, or a master's degree with 6 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 3 years of experience, or 20 years of relevant experience

  • Proven experience leading AI projects from conception to deployment

  • Experience in creating capability roadmaps and standards for development lifecycles

  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, Anthropic, OpenAI, Ollama, HuggingFace, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, AWS Sagemaker)

  • Proficient programming skills in Python

  • Experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI solutions

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and mentoring talent

  • Ability to engage with various stakeholders to drive large-scale initiatives

  • Strong project management skills, particularly with Agile methodologies

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making

  • Experience in performance measurement and optimization of AI/ML/analytics solutions

Benefits

  • The compensation for this position ranges from USD 144,900.00 to 241,500.00 per year

  • The base salary may vary based on location and the candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities, and may include eligibility for additional compensation, such as an incentive program

  • Drive enterprise initiatives as an AI subject matter expert, determining optimal use of AI capabilities, creating capability roadmaps, identifying opportunities, and supporting buy/build decisions

  • Define and create target state enterprise AI capabilities, including integrations, enablement, and operationalization, while collaborating with cross-functional technical and business partners for alignment

Join the innovative team at Cox Communications as a Senior Lead AI Data Scientist within our AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE). This enterprise team is a leader in AI innovation, tasked with driving transformational initiatives throughout the organization. We seek a highly skilled professional to guide, mentor, and oversee the creation of AI-driven solutions and standards that foster agentic AI, forge scalable platforms, onboard clients, and standardize AI and ML architecture. By prototyping and managing cloud-native AI applications, the team is committed to providing robust, scalable, cutting-edge solutions for complex challenges, leading to enterprise-wide impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of innovative AI-powered solutions and establish associated standards, addressing complex challenges and fostering transformative initiatives across the enterprise.
