AI Team Lead (Chinese Speaking is Mandatory)

Job Description:

We are looking for a technically strong and experienced Team Lead with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering and software development. You will lead a team of AI engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-grade AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

Represent Technology department to collaborate with business stakeholders and assess different business needs, develop tailored AI solutions to improve efficiency and productivity

Conduct workshops to educate business users on AI technologies and tools

Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers; resolve challenges and lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of AI-driven projects

Ensure high standards of engineering quality, including code reviews and best practices; ability to analyse large datasets to derive actionable insights to support decision-making

Build and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure to support model training and enhancements post-delivery

Stay up to date with the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence and apply relevant innovations to provide expert advice to the management

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or a related field

Strong and proven knowledge in full-stack development, generative AI; and experience with implementing LLM

Experience in specialized domains such as NLP, robotics, computer vision, predictive analysis

Hands-on experience with Python, Java, and familiarity with AI frameworks

Understanding of infrastructure and integrating AI models into production

Proven leadership or mentorship experience within technical teams

Ability to communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience

Strategic thinking, innovative mindset

Excellent problem-solving skills and communications skills in English

Good command in Cantonese & Mandarin is a MUST

Experience in FSI industry is a plus

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in AI tools such as ChatGPT, or other mainstream tools

Experience in building agentic AI
