GoJobs is seeking an experienced AI professional to join an upcoming in-person AI workshop in Downtown Vancouver as an Industry Speaker.

This is a paid, contract-based opportunity for a single workshop and is ideal for professionals who enjoy sharing real-world experiences, inspiring others, and discussing how AI is transforming today's workplace.

As the Industry Speaker, you will deliver an engaging presentation focused on your professional experience using AI, practical business applications, lessons learned, and industry insights, followed by an interactive Q&A session with attendees.

The workshop is part of The AI Edge Workshop Series, an initiative focused on helping professionals develop practical AI skills they can immediately apply in their workplaces.

Responsibilities

As the AI Industry Speaker, you will:

• Deliver a 45-60 minute presentation during an in-person AI workshop.

• Share real-world examples of how AI is being applied within your industry or organization.

• Discuss practical use cases, implementation strategies, successes, challenges, and lessons learned.

• Inspire participants by sharing your professional journey and insights into AI adoption.

• Participate in a short Q&A session with attendees following your presentation.

The total on-site commitment is approximately 1-2 hours, including setup, presentation, and audience questions.

Qualifications

We're looking for professionals who have:

• At least 3 years of professional industry experience.

• Demonstrated experience using AI in real business or organizational environments.

• Experience implementing or working with AI technologies beyond basic prompting, such as workflow automation, AI agents, no-code/low-code solutions, business process optimization, data analysis, or other practical AI applications.

• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

• The ability to present technical concepts in an engaging and accessible way to a broad audience.

The following are considered strong assets:

• Previous speaking experience at conferences, workshops, webinars, panel discussions, or industry events.

• Experience leading AI initiatives, digital transformation projects, or AI implementation within an organization.

Rather than focusing solely on Large Language Models such as ChatGPT, the workshops explore a broader range of AI applications, including workflow automation, AI-powered productivity, business process optimization, and emerging workplace technologies.

Each workshop combines practical AI learning with insights from industry professionals who are actively applying AI in their work, giving participants the opportunity to learn from real-world experiences and ask questions directly to experts.
