About the Role:

We are partnering with a global leader in the retail industry to find a talented LLM/AI Engineer.

In this role, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products.

You will design, code, train, and—most importantly—reliably deploy robust AI models into production environments, ensuring they deliver real-world value.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End AI Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI models and applications, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs) and other neural network architectures.

• Production Engineering: Architect and implement MLOps pipelines for seamless training, versioning, and deployment of models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

• Software Excellence: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python. Build robust data processing, features engineering, and model-serving systems.

• Model Operationalization: Take ownership of models in production; monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for latency, efficiency, and cost.

• Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and deliver full-stack AI solutions.

What We're Looking For:

• A strong academic background in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science).

• Proven hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining AI models in a production environment. This is a key requirement.

• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and deep experience with key libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas).

• Solid understanding of Neural Networks (CNNs, GNNs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and feature engineering.

• Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a significant plus.
