Senior AI/ML Developer – Voice AI

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI/ML Developer to join our AI engineering team and work on the development and deployment of production-grade AI solutions.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in AI/ML development.

Candidates with prior experience in Voice AI, conversational AI, real-time audio processing, and LiveKit will be strongly preferred.

Important: This is a senior position.

Only candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional working experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and deploy production-grade AI/ML models and applications.
• Develop and integrate Voice AI and conversational AI solutions.
• Work with LLMs, NLP, Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS) and real-time conversational systems.
• Build low-latency, real-time AI pipelines for voice-based applications.
• Integrate AI models with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and third-party platforms.
• Develop scalable AI services using Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Optimize models for performance, latency, accuracy, and infrastructure cost.
• Work on model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and knowledge-base integration.
• Design and implement production-ready backend architecture for AI applications.
• Deploy and manage AI workloads on cloud and/or on-premise GPU infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, backend, DevOps, and AI teams.
• Troubleshoot production AI systems and continuously improve reliability and performance.
• Mentor junior AI/ML developers and contribute to architecture and technology decisions.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional hands-on experience in AI/ML development.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and Generative AI.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or equivalent.
• Experience working with LLMs and Generative AI applications.
• Experience developing APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of model deployment, inference optimization, and production AI architecture.
• Experience with databases, APIs, Docker, Git, and modern development practices.
• Experience deploying AI workloads on GPU-based infrastructure.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience – Voice AI

Candidates with hands-on experience in the following areas will be given preference:

• Conversational AI platforms and AI calling agents

Experience building and deploying a production-grade real-time Voice AI platform will be a significant advantage.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on senior developer, not purely a research or management profile. The successful candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of AI solutions from architecture and model selection through development, integration, deployment, optimization, and production support.

5+ Years Relevant Professional Experience — Mandatory
