Jenik Freight is a dynamic freight forwarding company committed to delivering seamless logistics solutions.

We are seeking an innovative and tech-driven intern to join our team and play a key role in transforming how we operate.

Start: between December 22, 2025 - January 19, 2026

End date: June 01, 2026

Eligibility Criteria

• Enrolled full or part- time at an ELIGIBLE Canadian college or university and following a course of study that leads to a degree, diploma, or certificate.

• Studying any discipline, at any diploma or degree level

• Will be enrolled for at least the first 30 days of this internship

• Holds Canadian citizenship, Permanent Residency, or refugee status (International students are not eligible

Responsibilities

• Champion the implementation of a software solution that will streamline our freight forwarding and logistics processes.

• Research, evaluate, and recommend AI tools and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve overall operations.

• Collaborate with management and operations teams to identify workflow pain points and design smart solutions.

• Assist in testing, onboarding, and documenting the new systems for smooth adoption.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to logistics and supply chain automation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or related fields.

• Strong interest in process automation, AI tools, and logistics technology.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to research and adapt new technologies quickly.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain is a plus (but not required).

Job Type: Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week

Work Location: In person
