Core Responsibilities

As the AI/ML Program Lead, you'll be the central coordinator and driver for a portfolio of interconnected AI/ML projects, ensuring they align with the bank's strategic goals.

Your main focus is effective delivery, collaboration, and program health.

Program Leadership & Delivery:

Direct and coordinate all related AI/ML projects (the "program"), guaranteeing efficient execution and successful alignment with business objectives.

Lead, manage, and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams (including data scientists, engineers, and analysts) to ensure program goals are met on time and within budget.

Develop, monitor, and control the overall program plan, budget, and timeline.

Track performance metrics, proactively identify and resolve obstacles, and manage resource allocation across all projects.

Ensure data assets and models created are easily discoverable and reusable by other teams and projects.

Oversee quality assurance and support risk management for the entire program.

Collaboration & Process:

Partner with stakeholders (business analysts, leaders, etc.) to clearly define project scope, goals, and timelines.

Enforce effective use of Agile methodologies by ensuring ceremonies (standups, planning, reviews, retrospectives) are run successfully.

Provide ad-hoc support for data analysis requests when needed.

Operate within a high-stakes, collaborative environment in the financial sector.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation and proven leadership skills in the AI/ML domain, coupled with exceptional communication abilities.

Technical & Experience:

Required: A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a technical field like Computer Science or Data Science.

Required: 15+ yeaea Substantial experience in AI and Data development, with a history of successfully delivering complex AI projects.

Required: Experience operating effectively within Agile development teams.

Beneficial: Familiarity with MLOps (Machine Learning Operations).

Communication & Leadership:

Must be proficient at translating and presenting complex technical concepts to both technical teams and non-technical leadership/stakeholders.

Proven ability to foster and maintain a collaborative, inclusive, and knowledge-sharing environment within the team and across the organization.

Language:

Required: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Advantageous: Fluency in Putonghua (Mandarin).
