About... the Role

We're hiring an Account Manager to help us deepen relationships with our growing base of pharma and biotech clients.

As a key member of our Sales team, you'll own a portfolio of accounts and be responsible for ensuring customers achieve meaningful outcomes with the Katalyze AI platform — from onboarding through renewal and expansion.

You'll work closely with our customers — scientists, operations leaders, and quality teams at pharma manufacturers — to understand their goals, navigate challenges, and demonstrate the ongoing value of AI-driven biomanufacturing.

This is a high-impact role where you'll be directly contributing to Katalyze AI's growth while helping clients bring life-saving medicines to market faster and more efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Own and grow a portfolio of pharma and biotech accounts, driving renewals and expansion revenue

• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders including scientists, quality leads, and operations directors

• Conduct regular business reviews to align on customer goals and demonstrate ROI

• Partner with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure clients are getting value from the platform

• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and execute on them in collaboration with the Sales team

• Serve as the voice of the customer internally — surface insights that inform product and go-to-market strategy

• Manage the full post-sale commercial cycle including contract negotiations and renewals

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of B2B account management or sales experience, ideally in SaaS or life sciences

• Track record of meeting or exceeding retention and expansion targets

• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders

• Excellent communication skills — you can translate complex AI or biotech concepts into clear business value

• Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple accounts

• Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment is a plus

• Background in pharma, biotech, or life sciences is highly valued

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GxP environments, manufacturing operations, or regulated industries

• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

• Knowledge of AI/ML products or data platforms

• French language skills (an asset for Quebec-based clients)
