We are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing Canadian software and automation company with an award-winning AI product recognized for Best Product & Innovation for two consecutive years. They are expanding and looking for a highly skilled Generative AI & Machine Learning Developer who can work on next-generation AI solutions across banking, lending, and real estate.
• About the Role*
You will design, build, optimize, and deploy Generative AI and machine learning models on AWS.
This is an end-to-end role covering model development, cloud architecture, data engineering, and MLOps.
You will work with a talented engineering team on enterprise-level AI projects.
• Key Responsibilities*
• Build and fine-tune LLMs, GANs, VAEs, diffusion models, and transformer architectures.
• Develop and optimize ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Use AWS Inferentia and Trainium to accelerate training and inference.
• Deploy AI/ML workloads using SageMaker, EC2, ECS, EKS, and Lambda.
• Build secure and scalable data pipelines with Glue, S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
• Implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD, automated monitoring, and continuous training.
• Work with large datasets using EMR, Athena, Glue, and Redshift.
• Implement streaming pipelines using Kinesis, Kafka, and Lambda.
• Manage cloud security, IAM roles, encryption, and secure API endpoints.
• Monitor and debug workloads using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and Sagemaker Debugger.
• Required Qualifications*
• 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML development with a focus on Generative AI.
• Strong programming experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Strong experience with AWS ML stack including SageMaker, Bedrock, EC2, Lambda, and EKS/ECS.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, GPT models, transformers, and diffusion models.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD for ML, and automated model monitoring.
• Experience with data engineering and working with complex datasets.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and IAM.
• Preferred Qualifications*
• AWS Machine Learning Specialty or Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with serverless AI and multi-cloud deployments.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or Weaviate.
• Experience with RAG, RLHF, and LLM fine-tuning.
• Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI.
