About LightWork AI

LightWork AI is building the operating system for modern property management.

Our platform, Felicity, is an intelligent AI assistant that automates the operational workload that slows down property managers, letting agents and build-to-rent teams.

Felicity manages communications, compliance workflows, maintenance coordination... and scheduling — enabling property businesses to operate with the efficiency of modern digital platforms.

The UK property management services industry is a £33B market undergoing a structural shift toward automation.

Property teams currently spend up to 75% of their time on repetitive operational admin, and our AI is designed to automate up to 80–90% of these workflows.

We are already live with pilot customers, with overwhelmingly positive feedback and strong demand as we scale toward revenue in 2026.

LightWork AI is backed by experienced founders, industry advisors, and investors, and we are building toward a clear goal: to create the defining AI platform for property operations and build a unicorn company in the process.

About the Role

We are looking for an Internal Recruiter to own hiring end-to-end and build the foundations of our people operations function as we scale.

You'll manage the full hiring lifecycle across all functions, from sourcing through to offer, while establishing the onboarding, documentation, and people processes that a fast-growing team needs.

You'll work closely with leadership and hiring managers, and act as the face of LightWork AI to every candidate who enters the pipeline.

This is a full-time, dedicated role — we are unable to consider candidates who hold other employment or are enrolled in concurrent study.

Candidates based outside the UK must be willing and able to work hours equivalent to UK business hours (approximately 9:00–18:00 GMT/BST) in their local timezone.

What You'll Do

Recruitment

Own end-to-end recruitment for roles across tech, product, operations, and business functions.

Source candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, Kaggle, job boards, specialist platforms (Jack & Jill, Jumpstart), and creative outreach.

Screen, interview, and manage candidates through the full pipeline.

Follow and refine structured hiring SOPs to ensure quality and consistency.

Manage multiple open roles simultaneously with no loss in quality or pace.

HR Support

Support onboarding processes to ensure every new hire has a structured, high-quality first experience.

Assist with employee lifecycle administration — contracts, documentation, and offboarding.

Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees.

Help maintain and improve people policies and HR documentation as the company scales.

Support performance review cycles and flag people-related issues to leadership.

Requirements

Must-Have

3+ years of experience in recruitment — internal, agency, or a mix of both.

Proven ability to recruit across both technical and non-technical functions.

Experience recruiting for roles in European or US markets.

Working knowledge of HR fundamentals: employment basics, onboarding, documentation, employee relations.

Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A confident, articulate communicator who can sell LightWork AI's mission, culture, and opportunity compellingly to candidates — you'll be many people's first impression of the company.

Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Nice-to-Have

Experience hiring in AI, engineering, or product.

CIPD qualification or HR certification (any level).

Prior experience in a startup or scale-up environment.

Familiarity with ATS platforms, outreach automation tools, and sourcing platforms.

Ability to create documentation and support people ops as we grow.
