Position: Finance Professional (Independent contractor). Remote, 1–2 months, ~20 hours/week.

Base pay range: $80.00/hr – $110.00/hr.

Role Responsibilities

Evaluate financial outputs produced by AI systems for quality, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.

Calibrate AI decision-making processes in tasks such as forecasting models and scenario analysis.

Simulate and audit budgeting workflows, financial reporting, and variance analyses.

Provide domain‑specific feedback on AI‑generated financial plans and strategic documents.

Qualifications

Must‑Have

2+ years of experience in finance, ideally in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or related roles.

Strong proficiency in financial analysis and modeling techniques, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.

## Qualifications
* 4+ years of industry experience using machine learning to solve real-world problems, ideally in Ads, Search, Recommendations, or a related large-scale production domain
* Demonstrated ownership of the full ML lifecycle: from scoping and design through training, deployment, A/B testing, and iteration
* Strong programming skills

About this role

The Ads Data team is building the next generation of advertising products for the wholesale industry. As a key member of this team, you’ll shape the future of our ads system at Faire—from retrieval and ranking to auction design and bidding strategy. Our in-house stack gives us unique end-to-end ownership, and our first-party conversion data allows us to train highly effective models and optimize for real, business-critical outcomes on behalf of our brands.

Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Effective starting in January 2026, employees will be expected to go into the office on a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.
