We're collecting real-world, first-person (egocentric) video data using stereo head-mounted cameras, captured in genuine commercial work environments. This data will be used to train advanced AI and robotics models. This is not a scripted or studio shoot — it's about capturing real work, done naturally, by real people performing real tasks. What You'll Be Doing:

Wear a stereo head-mounted camera and record yourself (or a trained operator) performing genuine work tasks in a commercial setting.

Work only in non-residential environments — examples include retail stores, restaurants/kitchens, repair shops, factories, hotels, auto shops, gyms, salons, warehouses, labs, and similar commercial/industrial venues (home settings are strictly out of scope).

Perform tasks at natural speed, with visible hand movement, as real multi-step workflows — no staged, fake, or filler footage. Requirements:

Relevant experience — in the specific task/job being recorded, and no prior experience is required in camera use, filming, or recording.

Access to a genuine commercial work environment — either your own workplace/business, or arranged permission to film in one (retail, hospitality, food service, repair, manufacturing, healthcare-adjacent, etc.).

AI Platform Strategy and Delivery

• Define and execute the roadmap for the enterprise AI platform, including capabilities such as large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, model management, agentic workflows, and AI observability.

• Partner with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and data teams to establish a scalable, reusable, and secure AI technology stack.

Stakeholder and Delivery Management

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders on AI platform capabilities, limitations, risks, and investment priorities.

• Prepare and present business cases, progress updates, architecture recommendations, and executive-level materials.

• Manage project timelines, budget inputs, delivery risks, dependencies, and benefit realization for assigned initiatives.

• Support demand intake, prioritization, and portfolio planning for AI and innovation use cases.

Team Leadership and Capability Building

• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of engineers, analysts, or innovation specialists as applicable.

• Build internal capability in AI engineering, solution design, governance, and product delivery through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and structured ways of working.

• Foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and disciplined execution.

• Contribute to the uplift of enterprise capabilities in areas such as prompt engineering, AI solution architecture, model evaluation, and platform operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• $$6+$$ years of experience in technology delivery, digital transformation, enterprise platforms, or data and AI-related roles.

• Proven experience leading end-to-end technology initiatives in complex enterprise environments.

• Experience designing or implementing AI/ML or generative AI solutions, preferably in a regulated industry such as insurance, banking, or financial services.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, data platforms, and software delivery lifecycle practices.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and modern application development practices.

Domain Knowledge

The Role

We are looking for applied AI engineers to build AI-native systems for BJAK's AI Neobank app.

This is not a research-only role. We need builders who can use AI to automate real workflows, improve products, reduce manual work and make financial services easier for users and teams.

What You Will Build

• Build AI agents, workflows, tools and automations that solve real customer, product and operations problems.

• Apply LLMs, retrieval, tool calling, evaluations, guardrails and automation to practical financial workflows.

As a Machine Learning and Generative AI Engineer on our team, you will help lead the development of innovative generative AI products that address the needs of our constituents (students, alumni, faculty, researchers, staff, and the community at large). - Architect, build, maintain, and improve a suite of GenAI applications and their underlying systems.

- Automate machine learning pipelines, monitor performance and costs, and optimize models by using techniques such as LoRA/QLoRA and other parameter-efficient methods.

- Establish reusable frameworks to streamline model building, deployment and monitoring. Incorporate comprehensive logging, tracing, and alerting mechanisms.

- Build guardrails, compliance rules, and oversight workflows into the GenAI application platform, including approval chains for model updates and staged rollouts for production releases.

- Develop templates, guides, and sandbox environments to support onboarding of new contributors and experimentation with emerging techniques

- Ensure user-facing applications built on the GenAI application platform are safe and reliable, enforcing rigorous validation and testing before publishing, and implement a clear peer review process.

## Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Role Description The Programs and Partnership Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Ikeja, responsible for designing, managing, and scaling Catalyst AI Hub Africa’s core programs and strategic partnerships. This role involves planning and executing internship and tech-entrepreneurship initiatives, coordinating program timelines and resources, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure impactful outcomes for participants and partner organizations.

The Lead will cultivate and maintain relationships with local and international partners, including startups, corporations, educational institutions, and community organizations, to expand collaboration and placement opportunities.

Day-to-day tasks include business relationship management, new business development, engaging with participants and partners, overseeing training delivery, resolving operational issues, and continuously improving program content and processes based on feedback and data-driven insights. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams to align programs with the hub’s mission, enhance participant experience, and support communication and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Development skills, must be able to lead our internal and external stakeholder engagement drive

• Strong program management skills, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of multiple initiatives.

• Robust analytical skills to evaluate program performance, interpret data, and drive continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders, presenting program outcomes, and facilitating collaboration.

• Experience in training, facilitation, or curriculum support for tech or entrepreneurship-focused programs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Technology, Social Sciences, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

• Familiarity with African tech ecosystems, startup incubation, or talent development initiatives is an advantage.

This is not a theory-based teaching role. We are looking for someone who has actually built LLM applications, RAG systems, AI agents, automation workflows, or AI-powered products, and can teach beginners how to build them step by step.

The instructor will lead live online sessions, guide learners through weekly projects, review their work, and help them complete a strong final capstone project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead approximately 6 hours of live online sessions per week across the 13-week cohort

• Teach learners how to build practical AI applications using Python and modern AI tools

• Guide students through weekly hands-on projects, including LLM apps, RAG systems, AI agents, and deployed AI products

• Review student GitHub projects and provide clear, practical, real-world feedback

• Support learners in completing a deployed final capstone project

• Help students build a portfolio that demonstrates practical AI engineering skills

• Keep the learning approach simple, practical, and outcome-focused: “show me it runs”

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate should have:

• Real hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based applications

• Strong Python skills

• Practical experience with modern AI tools and frameworks, including LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, agents, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar tools

• Understanding of the production side of AI systems, including evaluation, guardrails, deployment, and reliability

• A public GitHub, portfolio, or deployed AI product that demonstrates actual work

• The ability to explain complex ideas in a simple and beginner-friendly way

• Patience, clarity, and a strong interest in helping learners build real projects

Nice to Have

• Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience

• Freelance, startup, or client experience building AI solutions for businesses

• Experience deploying AI applications using tools such as FastAPI, Streamlit, Next.js, Docker, Vercel, Render, AWS, GCP, or similar platforms

• Experience reviewing student or junior developer projects

This Role Is Not For

This role is not suitable for candidates whose AI experience is limited only to certificates, tutorials, short courses, or academic assignments without any real project, product, deployment, GitHub work, or client-facing implementation.

Program Details

• Format: Online, part-time

• Program duration: August to October 2026

• Demo sessions: July 2026

• Weekly commitment: Approximately 6 live hours per week, plus preparation and project review

• Compensation: PKR 5,000 per live contact hour, with preparation and project review scope to be finalized separately
