Java AI Engineer

Job Role: Java AI Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)

Mode of Hiring: Contract

Summary: We are looking for a talented Java AI Engineer to design, develop, and integrate AI-powered applications using Java and modern Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable AI/ML applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Integrate Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and Machine Learning capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Build and deploy AI-powered services and microservices.
• Work with AI frameworks, APIs, and cloud platforms to deliver intelligent solutions.
• Develop integrations with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS AI services, or similar platforms.
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, architects, and business teams.
• Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready Java code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java / J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and AI APIs.
• Familiarity with Python and AI/ML frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
