Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience developing or adapting modern machine learning models for non trivial problems
- Strong understanding of training dynamics, model behavior, and performance tradeoffs
- Hands on experience building and evaluating models using frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX
- Comfort working across research and engineering teams to turn early ideas into working prototypes
- Experience with efficient or resource aware AI systems
- Exposure to multimodal, time series, or signal based data
- Background in signal processing, systems, or applied math
- Research experience demonstrated through publications or applied innovation

Our client is a Boston based technology company developing advanced hardware and software platforms used across a range of real world, data driven applications.
Their teams work on complex problems where machine learning meets physical systems, with a strong emphasis on experimentation, collaboration, and practical outcomes.
They are seeking a Staff Research Scientist with a focus on Artificial Intelligence to join their growing research group.
Title: Staff Research Scientist, Artificial Intelligence
Duration: Full Time
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $175k to $225k+ base DOE, 15 to 20 percent bonus, plus RSUs
