Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team.

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, digital marketing strategies, and content creation.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a keen eye for design, and a desire to learn about brand management and e-commerce.

As an intern, you will work closely with our marketing team to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience across various platforms.

Duties

• Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

• Create engaging content tailored for different audiences, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.

• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic reach.

• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to schedule posts, analyze performance metrics, and report on engagement trends.

• Engage in social listening to monitor brand mentions and industry conversations; respond appropriately to foster community engagement.

• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for social media campaigns.

• Support public relations efforts by crafting press releases and maintaining relationships with influencers.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

• Assist in video editing for promotional content and advertisements.

• Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to branding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Familiarity with social media marketing principles and best practices.

• Basic knowledge of SEO techniques and keyword research methodologies.

• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is preferred.

• Understanding of web analytics tools like Google Analytics to track campaign performance is a plus.

• Strong writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading content before publication.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent relationship management skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

• A passion for digital marketing trends, e-commerce strategies, branding, photography, and video editing is highly desirable.
