Exciting Opportunity!

We are currently looking for French (Canadian) speakers to participate in an Audio Data Collection Project with Telus International. I would like to know if you would be interested in collaborating with us.

What’s involved?

Record 160 short audio utterances.

Compensation of $25 will be provided for 160 audio submissions.

Project Overview:

We are looking to collectaudio data through Samsung mobile devices (please note that Samsung devices are a mandatory requirement for participation). Participants will record 160 keywords in their native language using an app we provide. These keywords are simple commands like "Volume Up," "Volume Down," and "Play Music."

Recording Instructions:

Device Requirement: Only Samsung mobile devices (no tablets or laptops).

Accent Verification: Participants must be native speakers of the assigned language.

Buffer Time: Ensure a 3-second buffer before and after each keyword.

Spoken Length: Each utterance must last between 500 milliseconds and 1.3 seconds.

Noise Control: Recordings should have no background noise, with acceptable levels no higher than -45 dB.

Participant Requirements: Native speakers are required. IDs may be requested for verification.

Recording Review: Participants can review their recordings within the app, and our team will provide you with status updates and progress tracking.
