Senior Software Engineer — AI Infrastructure & Product About the Role Boardy.ai is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core systems powering how professionals discover, connect, and build relationships. You will wor...k directly with the founders and product team to design, build, and scale a product that combines AI, graph data, and real-world human interactions.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to move fast, ship often, and help define both the technical architecture and the future of the company.

What You'll Do - Design and build end-to-end product features across backend, frontend, and AI workflows - Architect scalable systems that support thousands of users, real-time interactions, and growing datasets - Build and improve integrations with LLMs, vector databases, APIs, and internal recommendation systems - Own key technical decisions around infrastructure, performance, reliability, and security - Collaborate closely with product, design, and founders to rapidly turn ideas into shipped features - Improve developer velocity through better tooling, testing, deployment, and observability - Mentor other engineers and help establish engineering best practices as the team grows What We're Looking For - 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in startups or high-growth environments - Strong experience with modern backend development (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar) - Experience building production systems with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP - Strong understanding of databases, APIs, distributed systems, and system design - Experience with AI products, LLMs, embeddings, vector search, or recommendation systems is a major plus - Comfortable owning projects from idea to production with minimal oversight - Strong product instincts and ability to balance speed with quality - Excellent communication skills and a bias toward action Nice to Have - Experience with graph databases, knowledge graphs, or social network products - Experience working with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks - Previous experience at an early-stage startup - Experience building internal tools, workflow automation, or data pipelines - Familiarity with ranking algorithms, search, or marketplace-style products Why Join - Work directly with the founders on a product with massive upside - High ownership and influence over both product and technical direction - Small, fast-moving team where your work will immediately matter - Opportunity to help shape the future of AI-powered networking and relationship intelligence - Competitive compensation, equity, and flexible remote work
