Role Description DUOARCH Client’s organisations are undergoing significant digital transformation across diverse business domains such as real estate, financial services, logistics, public services, hospitality, and investment management.

The Senior Enterprise Data Architect plays a central role in defining and governing the enterprise-wide data architecture required to support integrated digital experiences, operational excellence, AI enablement, and data-driven strategic decision-making.

The role will shape data architecture frameworks, establish consistent data standards, and ensure that enterprise data assets across the client’s business units are structured, governed, and leveraged effectively as a strategic resource.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Data Strategy & Architecture Develop and maintain the client’s enterprise data architecture, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, transformation initiatives, and digital roadmaps.

Own and manage enterprise-level data models, canonical data definitions, and reference architectures across multiple business domains.

Design scalable, cloud-native data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) including data lakehouse, data warehouse, and streaming architectures.

Support the client’s digital transformation with architectures for customer 360, asset management, operational analytics, financial data consolidation, and AI/ML readiness.

Data Governance & Compliance Work with Data Governance and Security teams to define data ownership, lineage, privacy, and quality frameworks. Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (e.g. data privacy, audit, industry-specific regulations).

Implement metadata catalogue and governance solutions such as Azure Purview, Collibra, or Alation.

Solution & Integration Architecture Architect integrated data solutions for enterprise initiatives, such as: Customer experience and multi-channel data integration Asset lifecycle and operational management Smart operations and IoT data platforms Financial and regulatory reporting Digital platforms and e-commerce Define integration architectures using APIs, event streams, i Paa S, and real-time messaging platforms.

Ensure that data environments are optimised for analytics, BI, AI, automation, and predictive modelling.

Stakeholder Engagement Engage with senior stakeholders across the DUOARCH client’s organisation to translate business strategy into data architecture roadmaps.

Serve as the trusted advisor for all data-related decisions, guiding digital programmes and solution delivery.

Clearly articulate data concepts to both executives and technical teams.

Leadership & Capability Development Provide leadership and guidance to data architects, data engineers, and analytics professionals.

Promote data literacy and a culture of evidence-based decision-making. Contribute to Architecture Review Board (ARB) governance, ensuring rigour in design approvals and alignment to standards.

Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field. Advantageous certifications: TOGAF or enterprise architecture Azure/AWS/GCP cloud certifications DAMA CDMP or data governance qualifications
