Job description 🏠 Senior AI Frontend Developer - £650, Outside IR35 - Hybrid OR Remote (London) 🏠

We are the exclusive talent partner on behalf of a seed start-up ($6m) who're building AI agents for the real estate market.

They're automating tasks that currently make up a $200bn labour market, and giving agencies the tools to fundamentally transform one of the lowest NPS industries.

Fresh off the back of a su...ccessful seed funding round, they're looking to build out their Founding Engineering team of engineers who've worked with AI agents in the past, and are looking to help build out their product 0-1.

You'll own the interfaces property managers use to monitor AI conversations, intervene when needed, configure agent behaviour, and surface insights across their portfolio.

This includes building and maintaining the Next.js backend layer that powers these experiences - including its own RAG pipelines, agents, and data layer - separate from the core Python backend that handles telephony and conversational AI. You'll also own and evolve the core product surfaces: onboarding flows, authentication, admin controls, billing, and the day-to-day UI that property managers live in.

🛠️ Requirements

• 3+ years TypeScript and React experience, building both frontends and backends with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN and similar

• Production experience building LLM-powered interfaces (LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK or similar): chatbot UIs, agentic dashboards, streaming responses, and human-in-the-loop workflows

• Experience with observability and debugging production LLM systems (LangSmith, Datadog, Sentry and similar)

• Strong UX sensibility - understands how to design for trust and clarity in AI-driven systems: real-time status indicators, structured LLM outputs, editable AI responses, and graceful fallbacks

• Strong RAG experience; structuring unstructured data and making it queryable and actionable by LLMs.

Hands-on with vector databases (Pinecone, pgvector or similar)

• Experience building dashboards and data-rich interfaces, including natural language search over structured and unstructured data.

Comfortable with performance optimisation (virtualisation, lazy loading) when rendering large datasets

• Has shipped end-to-end: from API layer design through to polished UI, not just one side of the stack

• Exposure to Python and FastAPI when needing to interact with the core backend layer

Bonus points for a design thinking or formal UX background, and experience with WhatsApp Business API, Twilio or similar messaging platform integrations.

They are based in London with their engineering team operating either hybrid or remote.
