Job Description

Wahy Lab Solutions is seeking analytical and technology-driven candidates for the position of AI-Powered Software Testing & Quality Engineering Intern.

The role focuses on validating software quality using traditional testing methodologies, test automation techniques, and AI-assisted testing tools.

Interns will gain practical exposure to intelligent test generation, defect analysis, test optimisation, and AI-driven quality assurance through industry-oriented software projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse software requirements and develop test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
• Execute manual and AI-assisted software testing activities.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects and inconsistencies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Explore AI-powered tools for test case generation, test data creation, and test result analysis.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Use AI tools to support test coverage analysis and identify potential edge cases.
• Perform API testing and validate application responses and data accuracy.
• Evaluate AI-generated test cases for accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to investigate and resolve software defects.
• Maintain test documentation, defect reports, and quality assurance records.
• Participate in live projects involving AI-assisted testing and modern quality engineering practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing, Quality Assurance (QA), and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with manual testing, test case design, and defect life cycle management.
• Basic understanding of test automation concepts and scripting fundamentals.
• Familiarity with AI tools and Generative AI applications is preferred.
• Awareness of Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman is beneficial.
• Understanding of prompt engineering for AI-assisted testing is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in AI-driven software quality engineering and emerging testing technologies.

Qualification

• Any Degree / Diploma / PG / ITI.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
