Our client, a cutting-edge research and development firm at the forefront of AI & Emerging Technologies, is seeking a visionary Principal AI Researcher to join their world-class, fully remote team.

You will lead research initiatives, mentor junior researchers, and publish findings in top-tier academic and industry forums.

Responsibilities: Lead and conduct high-impact research in advanced AI domains, including but not limited to machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP, and computer vision.

Design and implement novel algorithms and models to solve complex AI challenges.

Develop and validate AI prototypes and proof-of-concepts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to translate research into deployable AI solutions.

Mentor and guide junior researchers, fostering their technical growth and research capabilities.

Stay at the forefront of AI research by reading academic papers, attending conferences, and engaging with the research community.

Publish research findings in leading AI conferences and journals.

Contribute to the strategic direction of the AI research roadmap.

Develop and maintain high-quality code for AI models and experiments.

Evaluate and benchmark the performance of AI models and systems.

Present research findings and project updates to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences. Identify new research opportunities and potential applications of AI.

Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field. 10+ years of relevant research experience in AI/ML, with a significant publication record in top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ACL). Demonstrated expertise in at least one major area of AI (e.g., deep learning architectures, NLP models, computer vision algorithms). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Strong mathematical and statistical background.

Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate complex AI models.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.

Experience leading research projects and mentoring junior researchers.

A passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the advancement of AI.

Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing is a plus.
