This role is instrumental in driving innovation and developing next-generation AI solutions.
The successful candidate will lead research initiatives, design and implement advanced computer vision algorithms, and contribute to the development of groundbreaking products.
You will be responsible for conceptualizing new research directions, conducting rigorous experiments, and publishing findings in leading academic conferences and journals.
Key responsibilities include developing deep learning models for image recognition, object detection, segmentation, and other computer vision tasks.

This role is based in our client's research facility in Norwich, Norfolk, UK , with a hybrid work arrangement offering flexibility.
Key Responsibilities: Lead research and development in computer vision, focusing on areas such as image recognition, object detection, and segmentation.
Design, implement, and evaluate novel deep learning models and algorithms.
Conduct rigorous experiments and analyze results to advance the state-of-the-art.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products.
Mentor and guide junior researchers and engineers.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
Publish research findings in leading academic conferences and journals.
Contribute to the intellectual property portfolio of the company.
Develop and maintain robust and scalable AI systems.
Present research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a closely related field. Strong publication record in top-tier computer vision and AI conferences/journals (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML). Expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
Proven experience in leading research projects and developing novel algorithms.
Deep understanding of classical and deep learning approaches to computer vision problems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
