The core workflow uses a coding agent that writes programs against an LLM-friendly SDK to construct articulated 3D assets from text descriptions. By representing asset creation as programmatic generation, Articraft can produce structured geometry, joints, constraints, and part relationships in a way that is more editable and simulation-ready than a single monolithic mesh. This agentic design makes it easier to scale asset generation across many object categories and mechanical configurations.
Articraft is useful for robotics simulation, embodied AI environments, VR interaction, game prototyping, and digital-twin workflows where objects need operational parts. It bridges generative 3D and procedural modeling by letting an agent create assets that can open, close, rotate, slide, or be manipulated. The submitted project is a free research page with interactive demos and video examples.
