Job Description

• Integration of data storage solutions - may include databases such as MongoDB, key-value stores, blob stores, AWS S3 buckets, SFTP.

• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

• Training models and tuning their hyperparameters.

• Analysing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them.

• Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset.

• Defining data augmentation pipelines.

• Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset.

• Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning.

• Analysing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability.

• Knowledge of user authentication and authorisation between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

Qualifications and Sklls

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Data Science.

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree, or equivalent in Data Science, statistics, or related discipline.

• Proficient in Python and other software development languages used for machine learning and deep learning.

• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, Node.js, React, React Native HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience using web services: Redshift, S3, Spark, Digital Ocean, etc.

• Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, etc.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills.
