Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree with clinical experience
• 10+ years of experience in health AI/ML with expertise in deep learning, LLMs, and foundation models in the healthcare domain
• Proven track record of leading ML teams and productizing AI systems from research to production deployment
• Proficiency in programming in Python and in using ML frameworks
• Experience in cross-functional technical coordination and product development
• Medical informatics degree or equivalent training in healthcare data systems
• Extensive experience with medical record processing, EHR data, and clinical NLP applications
• Experience with healthcare user research, clinical validation studies, and evidence generation
• Previous formal management experience building technical teams
• Technical publications and conference presentations in health AI, particularly in LLMs or foundation models
• Experience in clinical research

This role combines clinical expertise, machine learning experience, and product development to drive foundational AI systems for healthcare.

You will define technical product requirements and coordinate development of LLMs and foundation models that serve providers, patients, caregivers, and consumers.

Drawing on your experience leading machine learning teams as well as clinical and informatics background, you'll conduct user research with healthcare stakeholders, architect AI systems for medical record processing and clinical workflows, establish validation frameworks, and guide technical decisions from research through production deployment.

Minimum Qualifications
