Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally full stack
• You've designed and built software from scratch
• You have experience working at a quickly growing start-up
• You have 2+ years of experience working on AI applications

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Software Engineer at Bland, you will work across our stack to develop robust, scalable solutions for our voice AI platform
• You'll be instrumental in building out the next stage of what AI phone agents will be capable of
• Designing Scalable Solutions: Develop key components of our voice AI platform, ensuring they're scalable, maintainable, and perform exceptionally well under high call volumes
• Creating Seamless Integrations: Design flexible API solutions that allow our platform to seamlessly integrate with customers' existing systems, databases, and telephony infrastructure
• Improving Machine Learning Performance: Collaborate with our AI team to implement and improve the infrastructure supporting our voice models, ensuring fast, reliable performance
• Driving Engineering Best Practices: Contribute to technical standards, code review processes, and best practices that elevate our engineering culture
• Solving Complex Technical Challenges: Tackle difficult problems in areas such as real-time audio processing, natural language understanding, and distributed systems

As a Senior Software Engineer at Bland, you will work across our stack to develop robust, scalable solutions for our voice AI platform. You'll be instrumental in building out the next stage of what AI phone agents will be capable of.
