About the role: The Data Scientist professional will be responsible for the creative design, built and implementation of different and advanced AI/ML models to solve complex business problems across functions in a multi-industry environment.

He/she needs to work collaboratively with other data scientist professionals and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Overall Responsibilities Serve asan expert data scientist, leading end-to-end execution of AI/ML initiatives.

Develop innovative AI/ML solutions to address business challenges.

Work independently in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.

Efficiently manage projects to deliver timely results to stakeholders.

Technical Responsibilities Assess project requirements and evaluate the feasibility of AI/ML use cases based on available data.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into data science solutions.

Prepare and manipulate raw data into structured, analysis-ready datasets.

Identify and resolve data inconsistencies while ensuring high-quality data insights.

Conduct ad-hoc analyses and generate actionable insights from large, structured, and unstructured datasets.

Develop compelling data-driven storytelling for presentations.

Design and implement validation strategies for accurate model performance.

Engineer features by integrating internal and external structured and unstructured data sources.

Research, develop, and validate advanced machine learning models and algorithms. Apply statistical techniques, machine learning models (regression, classification, clustering, NLP, deep learning, etc.), and optimization methods.

Experience in GenAI, RAG frameworks, and AI-driven chatbot development.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.

Hands-on experience with SQL, Teradata, MySQL, Hive, and other data warehousing tools.

Experience with BI & visualization tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Cognos, or SAS Enterprise BI is a plus.

Strong teamwork and

collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst Experience in data mining Understanding of machine-learning and operations research Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop) Analytical mind and business acumen Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra) Problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication and presentation skills BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred
