AI Infrastructure Expert

Full Description

We are seeking an experienced AI infrastructure expert to join our team at Groq. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for managing our datacenter and ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Directly Responsible Individual for our Datacenter

• Install and maintain servers and other rack gear in our Datacenter and Lab space

• Manage the inventory of allDatacenter equipment

• System Administration tasks:

• Installation of Linux systems and networks

• Troubleshooting

• Device and systems management

• Automation of tasks and key systems

• Work closely with InfoSec and other departments to protect Groq's infrastructure

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of Linux System Administration

• Advanced troubleshooting skills

• Networking Experience (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP)

• Experience writing/modifying code to improve monitoring and automation (e.g., Python, Shell Scripting, etc.)

• Detail Oriented and Highly Organized

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proven ability to work with external parties including vendors and customers

• Self-motivated and driven to achieve results

• Flexibility working across multiple systems and contexts

• 4 year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
