The client is a leader in AI innovation in healthcare, developing machine learning models for precise diagnostics.

Our work in the field of Computer Vision focuses on enhancing dental imaging and diagnosticsby optimizing advanced inference engines.

We are seeking a Data Scientist – Computer Vision to refine and improve our inference engine results as we train and optimize our machine learning algorithms. The ideal candidate will have experience in narrow AI, particularly in computer vision, and will work closely with our AI/ML teams to improve the accuracy of our model predictions

Responsibilities:

• Model Optimization: Improve the inference engine’s results by fine-tuning models.

• Data Annotation & Training: Work with annotated datasets to develop AI models.

• Computer Vision Algorithms: Implement and improve machine learning algorithms.

• Performance Evaluation: Analyze model performance, adjusting hyperparameters and feature selection to maximize accuracy and efficiency.

• Collaboration: Work alongside software engineers.

• Pipeline Development: Develop automated workflows for training, testing, and deploying computer vision models.

Research & Development: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in deep learning, neural networks, and AI-driven medical imaging.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with computer vision models in a real-world application.

• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar frameworks.

• Experience in medical imaging, 3D render processing, or dental diagnostics is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in deep learning architectures (CNNs, GANs, Transformers, etc.).

• Familiarity with data labeling techniques and synthetic data generation.

• Strong understanding of model evaluation, bias detection, and continuous training methodologies.

• Experience working with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google AI, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with 3D reconstruction, segmentation, and annotation tools.

• Background in biomedical imaging, medical AI, or healthcare AI applications.

• Knowledge of regulatory considerations for AI in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR for medical data).

• Strong communication skills to work with healthcare professionals, researchers, and engineers in an interdisciplinary environment.
