Latham & Watkins seeks a highly skilled professional to lead the development and execution of its AI governance framework.

As the Associate Director & Senior Counsel, AI Governance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with evolving legal and ethical standards, including AI safety and responsible AI use.

This position requires a deep understanding of emerging technologies, includinggenerative artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of relevant AI and privacy legislation.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining policies, guidelines, and documentation for the responsible development and deployment of AI tools, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory frameworks.
