Overview
At Department of Artificial Intelligence, we are looking for an experienced robot object manipulation engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++, object-oriented programming, robotics, and ROS.
They will also have experience with grasp generation, robot kinematics and classic and deep-learning based grasp generations.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement advanced algorithms for AI-driven robotic applications like object manipulation and motion planning.
• Generate, test, and optimize robotic solutions in simulation or on the real robot.
• Debug and resolve AI application-level issues in robotic systems, collaborating closely with hardware and software teams.
Qualifications
• Master's or PhD degree in robotics, computer science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in robot application
• Implement low-latency and high-performance software prototype modules in C++ and Python
• Sound experience with grasp generation
• Good understanding and experience with Robotic platforms
• Logical mindset and good experience in designing application state machines
• Experience with robot hardware and software using ROS
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
