Company Description SequestBio is a precision oncology company dedicated to solving cancer metastasis, the primary driver of cancer mortality.

Our first-in-class predictive platform is the first to analyze a patient's complex multi-modal data.

Role Description: This is a full-time hybrid role for a Founding Quantum AI Scientist located in Boston, MA, with some work from home acceptable.

The Founding Quantum AI Scientist will be responsible for conducting research in quantum AI, exploring and developing new algorithms, and performing data analysis.

The role includes working on pattern recognition tasks, applying statistical models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

• PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field with a deep focus on quantum algorithms.

• Demonstrated experience translating a complex optimization or simulation problem into a functional quantum algorithm.

• Strong programming proficiency in Python and deep, hands-on experience with at least one major quantum framework.

• A firm grasp of the underlying mathematics: linear algebra, Hilbert spaces, and quantum mechanics.

Preferred:

• A strong background in classical machine learning and experience integrating quantum components into a larger ML pipeline.

• Familiarity with cancer genomics, bioinformatics, or computational biology is a major plus.
