Research Scientist in Machine Learning

• The Role:* As a Research Assistant with expertise in Machine Learning (ML), you will contribute to the development of advanced ML models for medical signals and imaging, focusing on multi-level classification and feature optimization.

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary research team to design, implement, and evaluate machine and deep learning algorithms for medical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning algorithms for medical applications.

• Analyze and process large datasets to identify patterns and trends.

• Collaborate with the research team to design and implement innovative solutions.

• Deploy ML models into an assistive technology platform with user-friendly interfaces.

• Document research progress, methodologies, and findings in technical reports and academic publications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

• Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or R, with experience in ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

• Proven knowledge of classification algorithms, neural networks, and model optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with healthcare data, including clinical and behavioral data, is a plus. Similarly, experience in image and signal processing is also desirable.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
