The group of companies is an innovative technology company specializing in advanced AI manufacturing, including robotics, drone systems, intelligent automation and machine vision solution.

In collaboration with a Malaysian partner and with support from the state government, they have established production facilities in Batu Kawan, Penang.

As part of their expansion, they are inviting engineers atall levels including fresh graduates to join the team, with overseas training opportunities provided for those new to the field.

Job Responsibilities:

· Participate in AI-related requirement breakdown (e.g., visual inspection, intelligent robot control, data prediction analysis) and provide algorithm solutions.

· Design, train, and optimize machine learning/deep learning models (e.g., CNN models for defect detection, AI models for robot path planning).

· Collect, label, clean, and enhance datasets; validate model accuracy and generalization.

· Deploy AI models on embedded or server systems and collaborate with software engineers for implementation.

· Track new AI technologies and evaluate their potential for business applications.

Skills Requirements:

· Proficient in Python and familiar with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

· Strong grasp of ML algorithms (SVM, Random Forest), DL algorithms (CNN, YOLO, LSTM), and data tools (Pandas, OpenCV).

· Capable of building datasets and optimizing models to solve overfitting and accuracy issues.

· Familiar with model deployment (ONNX, TensorRT); experience in industrial/robotic AI applications is an advantage.

· Solid math foundation (linear algebra, probability) and understanding of algorithm principles.
