AI Financial is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Web Application Redesign:

• Work on the redesign of our existing web application to improve usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.

• Create user personas, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that align with user requirements and business objectives.

2. Collaboration with the Development Team:

• Partner with developers to ensure design feasibility and successful implementation of UI/UX elements.

• Provide detailed design specifications, assets, and guidelines to support the development process.

• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback during the development cycle.

3. User-Centered Design Approach:

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs.

• Analyze user feedback and metrics to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.

4. Design Standards and Trends:

• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and technologies.

• Ensure designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• Proven experience (internships or projects) in UI/UX design, particularly in web applications.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar software.

• Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Richmond Hill, ON L4B 3N2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• UIUX: 1 year (preferred)
