About AIVA
AIVA is a Calgary-based AI startup building a table mounted voice assistant hardware device for restaurants that helps reduce service bottlenecks, labour costs/shortages, support staff, and improve guest experience.
We’re launching with independent restaurants and are looking for driven sales-people to help us grow.
The Role
We’re hiring sales representatives to sell AIVA directly to restaurants.
This role is ideal for someone who is:
• Comfortable talking to restaurant owners and managers
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial
• Not afraid of in-person outreach, cold calls, and follow-ups
You will be responsible for:
• Visiting restaurants in person and pitching AIVA
• Calling and emailing restaurant owners/managers
• Booking demos and closing deals
• Managing your own pipeline
We will provide sales materials, demos, and some lead lists, but you are also encouraged to generate your own leads.
Compensation & Commission
• 20% commission on all closed deals for the first 6 months per customer
• Average customer value: $3,000–$5,000 per month
• Typical deal can generate $3,600–$6,000+ in commission over 6 months
• Performance-based bonuses for top closers
• No cap on commissions
