My client is an established investment manager with presence in Hong Kong and Singapore.

They have diversified investment strategies across traditional products and digital assets.

This is a great opportunity to join a multi-cultural environment and you’ll get direct exposure to work with the front-office investment professionals.

The senior management is a big-believe or AI and has decided to invest and hire a new headcount for AI Lead.

They are looking for a highly technical and forward-thinking AI professional to lead the development and execution of the firm’s overall AI strategy. This role will primarily focus on incorporating AI capability into the firm’s investment and daily operations, as well as providing a strategic view on the firm’s technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy in alignment with the company vision, embedding governance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle

• Build proprietary AI tools and agents for due diligence automation, process automation, market monitoring, and predictive analytics

• Partner with investment teams to develop AI models tailored to business needs and manage the end-to-end delivery of the project

• Prioritize projects based on ROI, feasibility, and data readiness

• Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders in Front-office, , Operations and Legal to identify AI opportunities and integrate solutions seamlessly into business processes

• Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML technologies, tools, and methodologies and assess their applicability and ROI

• Ensure the new AI development integrates smoothly with existing platforms, such as CRM, Compliance, Reporting

• Oversee Cyber Security and Data Privacy protocols in daily AI-related workflows

Requirements

• University degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Fintech, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines

• 5 to 8 years of experience in technology or AI related domain, preferably from Financial Services

• Proven track record in deploying NLP, supervised learning, generative AI, and agentic systems.

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset and able to build new solutions from scratch

• Ability to work with and explain technical concepts to non-technical users, adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels

• Excellent programming skills (Python preferred) and experience with automation tools

• Good command of written and spoken English, with proficiency in Chinese is an advantage
