Account Director

Location: Cambridge - 1 day a week in the office

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + OTE

The Opportunity

Aztrum is working with a rapidly growing UK technology services provider that helps SMEs unlock the full potential of their business through bespoke digital solutions.

This is a senior, high-impact role for an experienced Account Director who enjoys combining strategic account leadership with new business growth.

The Role

This is a dual-focus commercial role, responsible for:

Leading and growing a portfolio of large, strategic client accounts

Delivering new business revenue through proactive acquisition and pipeline developmentYou’ll work closely with senior commercial leadership and cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth, strong client retention and net-new logo wins, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while maintaining a hands-on approach to sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

Own and develop account strategies for key, high-value clients

Drive retention, cross-sell and up-sell opportunitiesNew Business & Growth

Proactively win new customers aligned to defined regions or verticals

Build and execute structured outbound prospecting plans

Qualify and convert inbound leads efficiently

Develop referral partnerships and regional networks

Consistently exceed monthly and annual revenue targetsSales Execution & Collaboration

Run end-to-end sales cycles from discovery to close

Deliver outcome-led, consultative sales conversations

Collaborate with presales, solution architects and delivery teamsWhat They’re Looking For

Experience selling Cloud, Managed IT, Cyber Security, Data & AI, CRM or ERP

Proven success growing strategic accounts and winning new business

Strong consultative sales approach with senior-level stakeholders

Highly organised, self-driven and commercially astute
