  • Undergraduate Degree, Graduate Degree (holder or candidate), faculty, or professional expert in Veterinary Pathology, Laboratory Animal Science, Animal Welfare, or other relevant discipline
  • Academic or professional focus in Veterinary Pathology
  • Recent experience in the field as a Professor/Lecturer/Instructor, Graduate Assistant, Researcher, or Editorial board member
  • Signed NDA and completed background check are required for this position
  • Previous experience in Test Item Writing, Exam Development, Exam Scoring, or AI is a huge plus

Job Description:

We are seeking a Veterinary Pathology Subject Matter Expert to support our research department in developing challenging questions that test the limitations of modern AI models. The ideal candidate will have an academic or professional background in Veterinary Pathology and recent experience in the field as a Professor/Lecturer/Instructor, Graduate Assistant, Researcher, or Editorial board member.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop difficult, domain-specific questions that probe and illuminate the limitations of modern AI models

• Perform peer reviews of questions developed by others

Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree, Graduate Degree (holder or candidate), faculty, or professional expert in Veterinary Pathology, Laboratory Animal Science, Animal Welfare, or other relevant discipline

• Academic or professional focus in Veterinary Pathology

• Recent experience in the field as a Professor/Lecturer/Instructor, Graduate Assistant, Researcher, or Editorial board member

Preferred Skills:

• Strong English grammar, writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Ability to write clear, thorough yet succinct summaries

• Attention to detail in reviewing and editing written materials

• Ability to work asynchronously on tasks and occasionally meet live to discuss the tasks
