We at Raise are hiring a Program Manager, Generative AI for one of our top clients, a leading financial institution After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Job Overview

The Program Manager will lead thedelivery of projects within the Generative AI and Advice AI program.

This role involves overseeing multiple workstreams, including the implementation of a Virtual Agent solution to enhance digital client experiences and improve internal efficiencies. The Program Manager will collaborate with Project Managers, Agile Delivery Leads, and Coordinators to ensure successful execution through all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). Key responsibilities include managing competing priorities, aligning stakeholders, and delivering complex projects that drive measurable business outcomes. The program aims to mature generative AI capabilities, improve team member productivity, and empower frontline and support staff with intelligent, real-time recommendations. This will be achieved through a series of prioritized use cases solved using AI and automation tools. The Program Manager will apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a hybrid delivery environment and play a central role in fostering innovation, efficiency, and decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to confirm the problems to be solved, expected outcomes and project deliverables.

• Identify and confirm project approach and engage appropriate stakeholders to develop detailed resource estimates and effective plans to manage the initiative.

• Assign deliverables, tasks and activities and continuously monitor and control all associated resources, schedules and plans.

• Report on status, risk management, budget/cost, success criteria and reporting as required

• Anticipate and effectively manage risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.

• Ensure optimal communications within and across teams and with all project stakeholders.

• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure a strong and positive stakeholder relationship.

• Provide positive team leadership and motivate those teams directly and indirectly involved.

• Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors

• Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects

• Ensure team members are effectively onboarded onto projects

• Support planning, preparing, and conducting of project delivery ceremonies

• Report key metrics to senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT project and program management

• 3+ years leading cross-functional project teams through the successful delivery of large-scale initiatives

• Previous experience leading Generative AI, Agentic AI, and innovative solutions is required

• Project Delivery experience in Data or Financial realms is an asset

• Proven experience delivering projects with teams that include internal team members, and Vendors.

• Understanding how to navigate both Agile and Waterfall processes through the delivery cycle, and manage multiple streams of work is key.

• Proven leadership experience in managing cross functional teams and mentoring junior team members

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
